Make it with me

I established my inky fingers credentials whilst studying Typography at London College of Printing in the late 90’s/00’s it was there that I burrowed away in the letterpress printroom and fell in love with the process of Letterpress. It started with just setting my name and address and developed into a choosing letterpress for an entry project in the ISTD.

I began collecting type well over a decade ago and from there have seen my workshop grow with an array of quirky cases of type and some absolute bolt on work horses (type which i might use daily). Some tools and pieces of ephemera just needed saving and the best way to do this is to use them what they’ve been intended for,

Fireater can print large format posters upto 500mm x 700mm sheet size on, these can be plate made or traditionally typeset using type in the shop. The process of Letterpress lends itself to many formats and paper types and the workshop can produce the most modern looking business cards and luxe wedding stationery suites.

Please enquire about samples and I can see what I can provide. The workshop is also a great place to experience the print method yourself and my doors are always open for visitors or people wanting to try the process out on one of my workshops.
